Petite Sirah Port Ganache
This Granite Springs tradition is the perfect compliment to our wonderful dessert wines. We suggest using it as a wonderful cake filling, topping, or just a spoonful at a time. Enjoy!
18 oz Semisweet Chocolate Chips (3 cups)
1 cup Heavy Cream
½ cup Petite Sirah Port
2 Tbsp. Butter, cut up
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
In a 2-Quart glass measure, combine chocolate chips and heavy cream.
Heat in a microwave oven on high 3 minutes, or until melted and smooth when stirred. Stir in butter and vanilla. Add the Granite Springs Petite Sirah Port.
Cover and refrigerate for an hour, or until ganache holds its shape.
Serve with a glass of Granite Springs Petite Sirah Port and ENJOY!
